lionel wants to get his tonsels removed so he can miss school and get icecream and treated better from the teachers when he goes to school.

I pretended to be sick so i didnt have to go to school when i was younger?
kind of the same i guess.
and i sat at home all day,
but then i didnt get to go out and do anything after school when everyone was done at school, it was gay
i think he got what he deserved because he just wanted to miss school and get all this other stuff just to get his tonsels removed.
but he went to the wrong hospital and got scared and he thought he was going to get heart sugery so he ran away so he didnt have to,
but he said he felt better afterwords so that he didnt have to get his tonsels removed.

The First Thing i am goig to write about is that the story has noting to do at all with the title.

I do not think the situation was no funny but just dumb. I will now kinda retell the situation. His throat hurts and he goes to the doctors and thinks about Lois and her tonsils. She got tones of attaion at school and got to saty home for two weeks.
They drove into Calgary for like about a 2 hour drive and went to the hostable. He somehow flew to Toronto and back witch is a good 3 hour flight one way and 3 hours back.
I never found myself in any situation like that. Wow what a aquird situation.
He did not get what he deserved because it was a bit to extream waht they did tim by axidint for just lieing about his toncils although he might not have lied you would never no.
But look on the bright side he now has a ciminal record for running away from the hotable and calling someone in from a pay phone in hoatable cloths and barefeet.

Yes i found that very funny because he was lieing about hes tonsils being sore and he ended up in the wrong hospital for a heart surgery , So he learned not to lie about things the hard
uh .. there was a time that i didnt want to come to school , actualy there has been many . I lied about being sick and my mom sent me to the doctors

I think he deserved what he got because his parents would have been paying alot of money for him to get his toncils removed , when he only wanted them to get out of school , so yea i do think he got what deserves .

yeah this book is really good.. i can kida relate to because my brother was flown from london hospital to sick kids hospital to have a heart transplant. so this is a good book.

ReplyDeleteOne time, I tried to avoid school, too, by lying to my mom that I was sick, but she felt my head and thought it wasn't bad. I was angry. She was too smart for me.
He.... Didn't. He didn't really get in trouble except for the transplant thing. Ugh. I apologize for my failage.
in this story a kid named lionel goes to school and finds out that her one friend is sick just had sergery and get special treatment. lionel thinks he should be aloud to have special treat ment just like his class mate. so he fakes sick and goes to the hospital and almost gets sergery on his heart by mistake. and thats when he relised that he should tell the truth.
ReplyDeletei have felt the same way because i can never stay home and when i do im not aloud to go outside after school with friends. my mom says im to sick for school and im to sick to hang out with friends. so his lesson is like mine.

ReplyDeleteThe situation that lionel found himself in is he heard that a girl got her tosil taken out and got to miss some school days. So he told his mom that his tosil hurt so she took him to see dr gloomis, he suggested that he will do an operation in the summer but lionel didnt agree. He wanted it during school so he sent lionel on a plane to Torornto. The doctor wanted to do a heart operation on lionel he said no 'Im fine'. He was worried about being away from his mom that he ran out of the hospital . but the cop brought him back to hospital , later they found out that they were expecting thomas instead of lionel. I think that this wasnt funny because i felt bad for lionel because he was worried because he wasnt with his mom. A time that i was in a similar situation is when i was 3 yrs old i also got my tonsil taken out. The consequences that lionel got was he was away from his mom and he was worried and went to a different city just to find out that they werent expecting him they were expecting someone else. I think lionel deserved it because now he would think twice about what he doing and the consequences that he getting into.

3)In the third paragraph Lionel went to the hospital in toronto to get his hart removed for a new hart but then they found out they had the wrong person and yes he does deserve that because he lied to skip school.
what happened whas that lionel wanted to get his toncelles out to skip school. so he went to the hospitl but they were not expecting him they were expeting some tall indian kid not a short white kid .. but when he was in the hospital they found out he had a heart problem. so they sent him home. 25 years later he forgot all about it.
