What is a blog?
According to Wikipedia:
A blog (a contraction of the term "weblog")[1] is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.
Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketches (sketchblog), videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), and audio (podcasting). Micro-blogging is another type of blogging, featuring very short posts.
As of December 2007, blog search engine Technorati was tracking more than 112 million blogs.[2]

Welcome to Grade 9 English Blogger
This blog site has been created for your grade 9 English class. Every week, your teacher will post a question or video clip that you will be expected to write about. Some of your responses will be longer than others, but remember that you are being evaluated. Each response will be marks for its insight (sophisticated thinking) and the clarity of communication. You must post a minimum of one response to each question that I post. Of course, you are encouraged to write as often as you can. You will be given a mark out of 10 each week for your responses.
because he trieed his hardest and still failed and was actually caring about failing probually cause his friends
ReplyDeleteI think that he cried becase he acutaly wanted to pass the test and not do grade 4 over again.
ReplyDeleteHe even prayed that he got more time to study and he got it. With the time extra time he got to study he used it very well although he wanted to play out side in the snow with his friends. He did his best to try and pass the test for onece but he got a 59 percent which is a pass put he failed some how. He talked about the test right after and got a 1 percent more then got 60 percent and passed. When the teacher told him that he failed he cired becaue he thought he had to do grade 4 over again.
Bart cried and he was upset becase he tried really hard and he didn't want to stay in the same grade again.
ReplyDeleteI've seen this episode before. I cannot remember what is was and how it went,though, so I can't relate to it and I can't really say much because there was some sound problems. But what other people say/said is because he misunderstood and expected that he had to do his grade again, which is four (?). He wanted to actually try to work harder and succeed because he fails in life. No, seriously. I don't want to be mean. He just never tries. (Until now.)
ReplyDeleteI think bart was upset because he actually took the time out of his useall "badass" life and decided to study so he can pass 4 and move on to grade 5 but ovbiously he didn't study hard enough and he failed .
